Li Ma

Dr. Li Ma is a senior computational materials scientist and project manager whose research is focused on computational analysis by finite element analysis (FEA), computational fluid dynamics (CFD), phase field (PF) modeling coupled with thermodynamic modeling, cellular automata (CA), micromechanical modeling, and multiscale/multiphysics modeling of various materials and structures. Her recent project work has included the integrated computational modeling and simulation platform for qualification and certification of additive manufacturing, additive manufacturing of amorphous metal soft magnetic composites, thermal mechanical stress analysis of functional graded materials, and computational modeling of liquid-crystal elastomer.
