Bio

George L. Coles is a principal staff engineer whose research focuses on microelectromechanical system (MEMS) fabrication and medical device design and development. His recent work includes the development of a cataract removal device for low-income countries. In addition, he works on fabrication of MEMS fuze technology and oversees the environmental testing needs.
