Christine Peacock

Christine Peacock was appointed the managing executive for the Talent Services Department at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) in July 2023. In this role, she leads diverse teams in support of APL’s more than 8,500 staff members, as well as oversees department operations and staff development. Ms. Peacock’s background before joining APL includes nearly 25 years in human resources (HR) leadership positions with expertise in HR start-ups and business realignments for public and private companies in the investment banking, asset management, and health care services industries. She is a current member of the Dean’s Alumni Advisory Board within the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School and was formerly on the board at St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore, a nonprofit focusing on poverty, homelessness, access to healthy food, and education in Baltimore. Ms. Peacock received her Bachelor of Arts from Emory University and her Master of Business Administration, with a concentration in organization development, from the Carey Business School.
