Internships High School and College
We provide high school and college students with the opportunity to use the skills they’ve gained at school to push the boundaries of science and technology and shape the career of their dreams.
Johns Hopkins Engineering for Professionals Graduate Education
We provide critical support to the part-time and online graduate programs offered through Johns Hopkins Engineering for Professionals.
APL Colloquium Community Engagement
The APL Colloquium is one of the longest standing technical and scientific lecture series in the Washington/Baltimore area.
The Johns Hopkins Connection JHU Community
We regularly collaborate with other Johns Hopkins divisions to enhance education and research and strengthen the university’s intellectual outreach.
Diversity Initiatives
We support a variety of programs designed to increase diversity in STEM.
ATLAS Cohort Internships
Our APL Technology Leaders and Scholars (ATLAS) summer intern cohort partners with Historically Black Colleges and Universities, Hispanic-Serving Institutions, and Tribal Colleges and Universities to connect STEM students with our technical challenges.
GEM Graduate School Cohort Internships
GEM provides many opportunities, including paid summer internships, to students interested in graduate programs in engineering and the natural sciences.
Maryland MESA
APL sponsors the Maryland chapter of MESA, a national STEM program engaging students in STEM concepts through projects and competitions.
