Bio
BioDr. Sandy Antunes is a software architect with experience in cloud, HPC, web, and scientific software. He has experience in science research and science tool building as well as space science experience with APL, NASA, NRL, and several universities. He teaches programming and remote sensing and has released code across multiple languages and systems (e.g., Python and IDL). He is a cloud architect, has created NASA science operations software and CubeSat flight code, developed Python machine learning code on GitHub, and is a published researcher in domains that include heliophysics (CMEs and plasma) and interplanetary particles and dust. Dr. Atunes has worked on seven satellites.
