Bio

Dr. Reed F. Young is the assistant program manager for Robotics and Autonomy in APL’s Research and Exploratory Development Mission Area. This program includes research in physical-domain artificial intelligence; autonomous unmanned systems; dexterous manipulation; complex aerobatic control; the trust, test, and evaluation of autonomy; and human–machine interaction. He has extensive experience and expertise in the research, development, test, and evaluation of military systems.
