BioAs a software engineer and lead, Patricia Harrington-Duff focuses on both the near-term development and the future of the Ground Applications Group’s ground software, technology, and related applications. She has developed ground software with an emphasis on applications integrating with the InControl core product. She has contributed to both sprint-based, agile projects and traditional, iteratively built ones. Areas of experience include requirements and early development, schedule planning, EVM, build and deployment, system testing, and spacecraft integration and test support, including mission simulations and rehearsals, launch support, postlaunch ground software activities, and team management. Harrington-Duff’s roles include ground software lead (postlaunch for Parker Solar Probe and mid-development for the Double Asteroid Redirection Test, or DART) and downlink and data management CSCI (computer software configuration item) lead. She is chief engineer of the Ground Applications Group.
