Kenneth Newsome

Kenneth E. Newsome Jr. is an electrical systems engineer and project manager with expertise in the space systems life cycle. Newsome served as deputy spacecraft electrical systems engineer for the Parker Solar Probe mission, a NASA Living with a Star program that launched in 2018. He is the spacecraft electrical systems engineer for the Interstellar Mapping and Acceleration Probe (IMAP) mission, a NASA Solar Terrestrial Probes program. He is also the project manager for the Juno Jupiter Energetic Particle Detector Instrument (JEDI) and the Van Allen Probes Radiation Belt Storm Probes Ion Composition Experiment (RBSPICE).
