Bio
BioDr. Joseph Comberiate is a space scientist and aeronomer who has developed space weather tools for defense applications, 3D ionosphere and bubble characterization SSUSI software for AFWA, a Kalman filter data assimilation model for ionospheric electron density, and a physics-based model for ionospheric forecasts. He also created a scintillation forecast product for the Army, modeled sensors for space situational awareness system analysis, and worked with radiative transfer spectral modeling algorithms. Dr. Comberiate chaired the 2014 and 2016 SEASONS workshops.
