Dr. James Mayfield is a principal staff scientist who focuses on information retrieval, information extraction, and related human language technologies. He co-teaches the Natural Language Processing course in the Johns Hopkins Engineering for Professionals program. Additional areas of expertise include human language technologies, information extraction, information retrieval, and natural language processing.
