Bio
BioDrew Seker is a senior mechanical engineer whose technical work includes design, analysis, and systems integration with a concentration in electronics packaging. His current research explores how operational environments affect various polymer 3D printers as well as laser wire directed energy deposition machines, and how these machines could be custom fit with sensor packages for in situ monitoring. Mr. Seker has lectured on topology optimization as part of the Design for Additive Manufacturing course offered by the Johns Hopkins University Engineering for Professionals program. Additional areas of expertise include detailed design of aerospace components and assemblies; design for additive manufacturing; and performing structural, thermal, and modal analysis and testing.
