BioColleen O’Shea is a mathematician, software developer, and analyst with programming experience in Java, Python, MATLAB, C#, and C++ as well as experience with object-oriented programming, visualization, modeling and simulation, GUI development, scripting, and version control. She performs observation planning and commanding using internally built tools for the Miniature Radio Frequency (Mini-RF) instrument on the NASA Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter. As member of the Europa Imaging System (EIS) SOC, she is creating trajectory and instrument schedule visualization and analysis tools for the upcoming Europa Clipper mission as well other downlink operations, such as compression analysis. She contributes to data visualization and other software development efforts for various missions using the Small Body Mapping Tool (SBMT) and calibrates and archives data using PDS4 archiving standards.
