BioCassidy Carroll is an analytical chemist specializing in the identification and quantification of chemical agents, organophosphates, explosives, carcinogens, drugs, and other organic compounds by primarily utilizing gas chromatography and liquid chromatography with mass spectrometry. Her research includes developing prototype chemical agent combustion technologies and subsequent analysis of the complex effluent stream, testing high-temperature alloys for resistance to acid gases, and developing field-usable gas chromatographs.
