Bio
BioDr. Abigail Rymer is a space physicist with more than 20 of years of experience studying the outer planets as part of the Cassini and Juno instrument teams. She led the multi-instrument team that identified the Enceladus auroral footprint on Saturn, and her interests range from magnetic microbes to exoplanet atmospheres. She led a NASA flagship mission concept study for exploring the Neptune-Triton system; is co-investigator and working group co-chair on the Europa Clipper mission to Jupiter; and leads a working group to define planetary observations in support of exoplanetary research for the Interstellar Probe. She helped start the cross-assessment group Exoplanets in our Backyard to promote cross-divisional research opportunities at NASA and is an Outer Planets Assessment Group committee member.
